There are several vacancies for Officers and Accountants in Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission, Patna. The details for the candidates are given below :


1) Block Project Officer :
Number of vacancies : 533 (UR-267, SC-85, ST-05, 0BC-96, BC-64)
Salary : Rs.15000/-
Qualification : Candidate who are willing to apply must have degree in any discipline from the recognized institute/ university with minimum 50% marks ( 45% in case of SC/ST).
Job Requirement : Candidates will have to look after the work of the mission at block level as well guide other candidates who are looking after the development programme.
Age limit (as on 01.07.2011) : Maximum 35 years

2) Clerk-cum-Accountant :
Number of vacancies : 533 (UR-267, SC-85, ST-05, 0BC-96, BC-64)
Salary : Rs.8000/-
Qualification : Candidates who are willing to apply should have degree in B.Com from recognized institute/ university.
Age limit (as on 01.07.2011) : Maximum 35 years ( 3 years relaxation to BC and 5 years to SC/ST candidates)




Syllabus for Examination :
For Block Project Officer :
Indian Constitution Rural/social/community development scheme and current government policy and development Indian economy and budget statistics.
English/ Hindi comprehension and correspondence skills, general knowledge and awareness, current affairs, mental ability and reasoning, MS Office (computer).
For Clerk-cum-Accountant :
Arithmetic (law and application), general English and Hindi, general knowledge and awareness, current affairs, mental ability and reasoning, book keep and accountancy taxation, Ms Office (computer).

Application Fees :
Block Project Officer :
General, OBC, BC and BC (Women) candidates  = DD of Rs.200/-
SC/ST candidates = DD of Rs.100/-
Clerk-cum-Accountant :

General, OBC, BC and BC (Women) candidates  = DD of Rs.150/-
SC/ST candidates = DD of Rs.75/-


Reservation :
Reservation is given to only candidates of origin of Bihar. Physically handicapped candidates would be given 3% reservation as per the norms.

General Instructions :
The recruitment would be done on contractual basis for a period of 3 years. Initially the first one year would be probation period for the candidates. The duration of the contract as well as the probation probation period would be increased and decreased depending on the performance of the candidate.

Application Procedure :
i) Candidates have to fill the application form online.
ii) The application form is available on the website of the department.
iii) After filling the application form online, candidate have to send that print attached with the Demand Draft to the Mission Office. The print to be send by registered post office.
iv) The dully filled application form should reach the mission office latest by 20 September 2011. Application send after the due date would be automatically disqualified.
v) Candidate should superscribe the post name and reservation category on the envelope.

Selection Procedure :
Candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of merit list of the written test. The written test would be based on multiple choice objective questions. The written would be of 2 hours and carry 100 questions.
